Maintaining Your Ongo Compact

To ensure your Ongo Compact continues to provide accurate and reliable semen analysis results, it's essential to properly clean and store the device. This article will provide guidelines on maintenance, explain the warranty terms and conditions, and include contact information for customer support.

Cleaning and Storage

Follow these guidelines to keep your Ongo Compact in optimal condition:

  1. Cleaning: Clean the device using a dry, soft cloth. If necessary, you may use a slightly damp cloth, but ensure that no moisture enters the device. Clean the lens cover gently with a non-scratching textile suitable for optical equipment, and avoid pressing on the lens cover.
  2. Storage: When not in use, always store your Ongo Compact in the provided protective briefcase with the shaped foam inserts. This will protect the device from dust, moisture, and potential damage during transport.
  3. Operating Environment: Use your Ongo Compact in a clean, dry environment with an ambient temperature between 0°C and 30°C (32°F and 86°F). Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  4. Battery and Power Supply: Use only the power supply provided in the Ongo Compact Starter Kit to charge the device. If the battery or power supply malfunctions, do not attempt to repair it yourself; instead, contact customer support for assistance.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Ongo Compact comes with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Damage caused by using the device with incompatible or non-recommended accessories or consumables
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or other environmental conditions

Note: The warranty will be void if the device is opened or modified by anyone other than an authorized service technician.
